Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 June 2026

The short version: Intelliwri does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data or your writing to us. There is no account and no tracking. Your books stay on your Mac or iPad. AI features run through an AI provider that you connect, using your own key.

This Privacy Policy explains how the Intelliwri application ("Intelliwri", "the app", "we", "us") handles information. Intelliwri is developed by DeepFellow ("the developer").

1. We don't collect your data

Intelliwri has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not collect personal information, usage statistics, telemetry, advertising identifiers, crash data tied to you, or the contents of your work. We have no servers that receive your manuscripts.

2. Your books stay on your device

Books you create in Intelliwri are saved as ordinary document files on your own Mac or iPad (and any storage you choose, such as iCloud Drive or an external disk). You control where they live, who they're shared with, and when they're deleted. We have no access to them.

3. AI features use your own provider

Intelliwri's AI analysis (consistency diagnostics, character statistics, the Author's Journey review, and "Organize Thoughts") does not use an AI model operated by us. Instead, you connect your own AI provider — any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, such as OpenAI, DeepFellow infrastructure, or another compatible service.

When you run an AI analysis, the relevant content needed for that request — for example the chapter text together with the arcs, notes, world entries, characters and goals it is being checked against — is sent directly from your device to the provider you configured. This data does not pass through DeepFellow, and we never receive or store it.

The handling of that data is governed by the privacy policy and terms of the provider you choose. You are responsible for selecting a provider you trust and for reviewing their data-retention and training practices. If you do not run any AI feature, no text leaves your device.

4. Your API key

To use AI features you enter your provider's API key and settings (base URL and model). These are stored locally on your Mac or iPad. Your API key is never written into your book document and is never sent to DeepFellow. It is transmitted only to the AI provider you configured, as required to authenticate your own requests.

5. No third-party tracking

Intelliwri contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no social or tracking pixels. The only network connections the app makes are the AI requests you trigger, sent to the endpoint you configured.

6. Children's privacy

Intelliwri is a productivity tool intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the revised version here. Material changes will be reflected in a new app release where relevant.
